Welcome to the Address Book!
The Address Book is a free, open source address management system .
Key Features:
- Utilizes the combined power of PHP scripting and MySQL databases
- Flexible, robust system allows you to add a virtually unlimited number of addresses, phone numbers, and any other type of information to contacts
- Administration and user-level accounts to share contact information securely with clubs, organizations, co-workers, or friends
- Organize contacts to one or more groups for selected listings
- Display upcoming birthdays, allowing early preparation for gifts and parties
- Export e-mail addresses to Eudora
- Support for languages other than English (new!)
- .. and much more!
Some Future Improvements:
Please note that while this script is largely functional on tested systems, we cannot
always account for differences on different installs of PHP, MySQL, and/or Apache, and
unforseen conflicts may arise. We would appreciate any testing, or code optimization and
stabilization, from our users.

If you downloaded 1.03 prior to today, you should download a patch. The patch fixes up a few
bugs in the release of 1.03. New downloads of 1.03 will already have the patch applied
so you do not have to download a patch. To apply the patch, simply copy the contents of the zip file into your
existing address book installation directory; there is no upgrading or additional steps to follow.
